Privacy policy

The short version

There are no accounts on this site, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing for us to store about you. We do not ask for your name, your email, your immigration status or anything about your case.

What stays in your browser

If you mark a question as known, choose a state, or pick a language, that choice is saved in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individual visitors across sites. We see aggregate numbers — how many people read a page, roughly where in the world they are, which site sent them — not individuals.

Advertising

This site is paid for by display advertising. Advertising partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to measure and, where permitted, personalise the ads you see.

If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising. You can do this through the privacy controls shown on this site, and we honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. You can also turn off personalised advertising from Google at myadcenter.google.com.

Links to other sites

We link to USCIS, senate.gov, house.gov and other official sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

Children

This site is aimed at adults preparing for naturalisation. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact
